Ideas die in
notes apps.

Four hundred notes, zero movies. Voice memos you never replay. The one you swore you'd remember. The idea isn't the hard part. Keeping it alive is.

Movie.Builders opens to one question and a mic. Talk, and every word is kept exactly as you said it. No account first, no form, no signal needed.

0:45Name it. Now it’s a movie, not a memory.

ASH HARBOR
a second idea

Eight parts.
That's a movie.

Your workspace is shaped like a film, from the finished Sequence at the top down to raw Ideas at the bottom. You file every thought yourself, and that's the point: placing it is how the structure gets into your bones. No AI sorts your story for you.

Sequence · scenes in play order

Scenes · one place, one time

NO AI SORTS YOUR STORY You file it. That's the lesson. EVERY WORD STAYS YOURS

Film school,
hidden in filing.

Every plotline holds five questions open, the same five screenwriters have argued about for a century. Fill them in any order, over weeks. By your second movie you'll ask them without looking.

1
What they want
specific enough to win or lose
2
What stands in the way
it truly fights back
3
What it costs to keep going
the price climbs
4
The choice they make
they decide the ending
5
Why they can’t go back
changed for good
An empty slot isn't a nag. It's the next good question about your story.

EVERY WORD KEPT, EVEN OFFLINE
I don’t know anything about screenwriting.
That’s who this is for. You never see jargon, just plain questions like “what do they want?” By the time you’ve answered them a few times, you’ve learned the structure without studying it.
All I have is a fragment.
A fragment is a start. Say the one line you have; it goes in Ideas until you know where it belongs. Nothing has to be finished, or even filed.
Does AI write it for me?
No. It records your words exactly and keeps them safe. You decide where every piece goes. Handing that off would rob you of the only part that teaches you anything.
What if I stop for six months?
It waits. Come back and your movie is exactly as you left it, with the unanswered questions still standing where you left them.
Can I keep more than one idea?
As many as you want. Each movie is its own space with its own color, so switching between them takes two taps and never mixes them up.
What if I have no signal?
Talk anyway. Recording works offline and syncs when you’re back. The point is never having to wait to say it.
